District Parent Leader Shared Inboxes

Shared Inboxes and Drives for Parent Leaders

Beginning 2025, all Parent Association/Parent Teacher Association parent leaders and Title I parent leaders (PAC Chairs, PAC Chair alternates, COPS users) will be issued individual @DOEexternal.nyc accounts. Additionally, all parent leader organizations (including district parent organizations) will also be issued a shared inbox and drive that parent leaders can access through their individual accounts.

Please use this form to indicate which parent leaders need access to district inboxes or drives. Note that your email address will be captured when you complete this form. We will only reach out to you with questions or issues with your responses.

Parent Coordinators should fill out this form for president/co-president (Parent leaders) & chairperson/alternates (Title 1 parents) who currently do not have shared inbox or drive access.
Presidents/Co-Presidents and/or Chairperson/Alternates should fill out this form for additional parent leaders in their school that need access to the shared inbox or drive.

PLEASE NOTE:

For Parent Leaders:
Access to the shared inbox and drive can only be granted to parent leaders who are in the School Parent Leadership Contact Information System (SPLCI) with a DOEexternal.nyc account. If the parent leader is not listed in SPLCI as “submitted”, we cannot give them access.

For Title 1 Parent Leaders:
Access can only be granted to parent leaders who are in the iPlan Portal with a DOEexternal.nyc account. If the parent leader is not listed in iPlan Portal, we cannot give them access.
