Trade Promotion Lottery – Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter and Promotion Administrator

The promoter is Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society of SA Inc (ABN 68 531 710 498) of Adelaide Showground, Goodwood Road, Wayville SA 5034 (“Promoter”).

Square Holes Pty Ltd (ABN 72 789 897 844 / ACN 110 426 634) of 8 Regent St N, Adelaide SA 5000 has been engaged by the Promoter to administer the survey and promotion on its behalf, including managing entries, conducting the prize draw and notifying winners (“Promotion Administrator”).

2. Promotion Period

The promotion commences at 9:00am ACST on 5 September 2026 and closes at 11:59pm ACST on 27 September 2026 (“Promotional Period”).

3. Eligibility

Entry is open to persons who:

  • attend the 2026 Royal Adelaide Show; and
  • complete the 2026 Royal Adelaide Show Survey during the Promotional Period.
Entrants under 18 years of age must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to enter the prize draw.

Employees and immediate family members of the Promoter or Promotion Administrator, and any other persons directly involved in conducting or promoting the prize draw, are ineligible to enter.

4. How to Enter

To enter, eligible participants must, during the Promotional Period:

  • attend the 2026 Royal Adelaide Show; and
  • complete the 2026 Royal Adelaide Show Survey in full, including providing the contact details required to enter the prize draw.

There is no additional cost to enter the prize draw.

Limit of one (1) entry per person. Multiple entries by the same person will be deemed invalid.

5. Permit

Based on the expected total prize pool and applicable South Australian trade promotion lottery requirements, a trade promotion lottery licence is not required.

6. Prizes

There are twenty (20) prizes.

Each winner will receive one (1) Family Pass to the 2027 Royal Adelaide Show, comprising either:

  • two (2) adult tickets and two (2) child tickets; or
  • one (1) adult ticket and three (3) child tickets.

The retail price of 2027 Royal Adelaide Show Family Passes has not yet been confirmed. The price is expected to be approximately $85 per Family Pass when 2027 ticket prices are released. On this basis, the expected total prize pool is approximately $1,700.

The actual value of each prize will be the retail price of a 2027 Royal Adelaide Show Family Pass when 2027 ticket prices are confirmed.

As tickets for the 2027 Royal Adelaide Show are not yet available, each winner will initially receive written confirmation of their entitlement to one (1) 2027 Royal Adelaide Show Family Pass. The corresponding Family Pass will be issued once 2027 Royal Adelaide Show tickets become available.

Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

Any ancillary costs associated with using the prize, including travel to and from the Royal Adelaide Show, accommodation and other expenses, are the responsibility of the winner.

Use of the Family Pass will be subject to the applicable Royal Adelaide Show ticketing and conditions of entry.

If for any reason a prize or any part of a prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.

7. Draw Details

The draw will take place at 10:00am ACST on 6 October 2026 at the offices of the Promotion Administrator, Square Holes Pty Ltd, 8 Regent St N, Adelaide SA 5000.

The draw will be conducted by the Promotion Administrator on behalf of the Promoter.

Twenty (20) winners will be selected at random using an electronic random number generator, with each valid entry having an equal chance of being selected.

8. Winner Notification

The Promotion Administrator, on behalf of the Promoter, will notify each winner by email or other written electronic communication using the contact details provided by the entrant within two (2) business days of the draw.

The Promotion Administrator may also attempt to contact winners by telephone.

The notification will advise the winner of the prize they have won and what they need to do to claim it.

9. Publication of Winners

The winners’ first initials, surnames and postcodes will be published on the promotion webpage at:

within seven (7) days of the draw.

The winners’ details will remain published for a minimum of 28 days.

10. Prize Claim

Winners must claim their prize within 30 days of the date on which the Promotion Administrator first provides written notification that they have won.

If a winner is under 18 years of age, the Promoter or Promotion Administrator may require confirmation of parental or guardian consent before the prize is awarded.

A prize will be considered claimed once the winner has responded to the Promotion Administrator and provided any information reasonably required to confirm their eligibility and arrange the prize.

Once a prize has been claimed, the winner will receive written confirmation of their entitlement to one (1) 2027 Royal Adelaide Show Family Pass. The corresponding Family Pass will be issued once 2027 Royal Adelaide Show tickets become available.

If a prize is not claimed within the required period, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded in the unclaimed prize draw described below.

11. Unclaimed Prize Draw

If any prizes remain unclaimed following the expiry of the applicable 30-day claim period, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at 10:00am ACST on 10 November 2026 at the offices of the Promotion Administrator, Square Holes Pty Ltd, 8 Regent St N, Adelaide SA 5000.

The unclaimed prize draw will be conducted by the Promotion Administrator on behalf of the Promoter.

Replacement winner(s) will be selected at random from the remaining valid entries using an electronic random number generator.

The Promotion Administrator, on behalf of the Promoter, will notify replacement winner(s) by email or other written electronic communication within two (2) business days of the unclaimed prize draw and may also attempt to contact them by telephone.

The first initial, surname and postcode of each replacement winner will be published on the promotion webpage at:

within seven (7) days of the unclaimed prize draw.

The replacement winner(s)’ details will remain published for a minimum of 28 days.

12. General Conditions

  • The Promoter, or the Promotion Administrator acting on its behalf, reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and the eligibility of entrants, including whether an entrant attended the 2026 Royal Adelaide Show.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry or draw process, provides false or misleading information, or submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  • Incomplete, indecipherable or fraudulent entries will be deemed invalid.
  • The Promoter and Promotion Administrator are not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incorrectly submitted or not received because of technical failures or other circumstances beyond their reasonable control.
  • The Promoter’s decision in relation to the promotion is final, subject to applicable law.

13. Force Majeure

If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including because of computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, acts of God, government restrictions, public health events or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter or Promotion Administrator, the Promoter reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.

14. Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, Promotion Administrator and their respective agents, contractors and associated organisations exclude liability for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained in connection with participation in the promotion or use of a prize.

15. Privacy

Personal information required to administer the prize draw will be collected and handled by the Promotion Administrator on behalf of the Promoter.

The personal information may be used for purposes including administering entries, conducting the draw, verifying eligibility, contacting winners, arranging prizes and publishing winner details as described in these Terms and Conditions. 

Once a winner’s eligibility has been confirmed and they have accepted the prize, the Promotion Administrator will provide the winner’s name and relevant contact details to the Promoter so the Promoter can arrange and issue the prize.

For these purposes, personal information may be disclosed between the Promoter and Promotion Administrator and to contractors, service providers or other third parties where reasonably necessary to administer the promotion and provide the prizes.

Entry into the prize draw is conditional on providing the personal information reasonably required to administer the draw and contact winners.

By entering the promotion, entrants consent to their first initial, surname and postcode being published if they are selected as a winner, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
