How do we collect your data?
You directly provide InCommon with all of the data we collect. We collect your data when you fill out this survey.
How will we use your data?
InCommon collects your data so that we can:
- Analyze it as a part of a representative dataset for the purpose of research into the strategic trends in Christian ministry;
- Verify that only one survey response was submitted by each respondent, and eliminate duplicates;
- Contact you to clarify the information that you provided;
- Share a report with you summarizing the results of the survey;
- Reach out to you about programs and initiatives directly related to the survey and your ministry;
How do we store your data?
InCommon securely stores your data on the Alchemer survey collection platform and derived Google Drive documents (including Docs and Sheets). Your data might also be stored in private Dropbox folders to facilitate internal communication. Alchemer, Google, and Dropbox encrypt data using the AES-256 encryption protocol.
InCommon will keep your personal data for as long as necessary for analysis and follow-up communication. If we review your data and determine that it is no longer needed, we will delete it by irreversibly anonymizing the survey datasets.
