The purpose of this survey is to identify and prioritise business environment issues that, if addressed, can help to unlock the growth of your business, sector and value chain, and local economy/ business premises precinct.


The Cape Chamber is conducting this survey with the support of, and in association with, the following industry associations:

Please note the following:

1. We know your time is scarce and precious- the survey has been designed to take up no more than 6-30 minutes of your time. You can choose the number of priority business environment constraints that you believe are most important to your business to respond to when you take this survey.
2. You may pause completing the survey at any time and then return to continue- if you keep this survey tab open on your computer or phone.
3. If, for whatever reason (e.g. power outages or other interruptions) you begin the survey but are unable to complete and your computer or phone is turned off while completing the survey, kindly send an email to survey@capechamber.co.za with the date and time that you started completing the survey and a link will be emailed to you so that you can complete the survey from where you left off/ stopped completing the survey (i.e. you will not need to re-enter your previous responses).
4. Your survey information will remain anonymous and confidential. Anonymous survey data (i.e. the data will not contain any of your personal or business identifying information) may be shared with strategic chamber partners such as industry associations so that they can use the data to inform and take actions to improve industry and business growth.
5. The CCCI has appointed Impact Economix implement this survey and they are a member of the South African Market Research Association and subscribe and adhere to the ICC / ESOMAR International Code on Market and Social Research.
6. All questions with an * Asterix require an answer ( you will not be allowed to continue with the survey until you have answered the compulsory questions).
7. The deadline to complete this survey is Wednesday 11th September close of business - where after the survey will be withdrawn.
