Professional Development Certification Application

The Professional Development Certification (PDC) offers Homecare Workers, Personal Support Workers and Personal Care Attendants the opportunity for career advancement through educational courses which promote the building of skills used in day-to-day work experiences. In recognition of completion, providers who complete all requirements will be approved for a 24-month certification with a .50 cent pay differential above the base pay rate. This is dependent upon qualifications remaining current.

Reminder: CPR/First Aid certification is required for Professional Development Certification. If CPR/First Aid training is not available in your area you may be eligible for conditional certification, to learn more please contact the Certifications Unit at Certifications.OHCC@dhsoha.state.or.us .
