Attendee Survey Prize Draw – Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter is Square Holes Pty Ltd (ACN 110 426 634), of 8 Regent St N, Adelaide SA 5000 (“Promoter”), acting on behalf of Adelaide Film Festival
2. Promotion Period
The promotion commences at 9:00am ACST on 26 October 2026 and closes at 10.00am ACST on 12 November 2026 (“Promotional Period”).
3. Eligibility
Entry is open to attendees of the Adelaide Film Festival 2026
4. How to Enter
To enter, eligible participants must, during the Promotional Period:
Entry is free. Participation in the prize draw is optional. Participants may complete the survey without entering the draw.
Questions identified as optional do not need to be answered to qualify for entry.
There is a limit of one entry per person across both survey methods. Any additional entries submitted by the same person will be excluded.
By entering, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions.
5. Permit
The total prize pool is $1,000. A permit is not required for a minor trade lottery with prizes totalling $5,000 or less under South Australian requirements.

An AFF 2027 Industry Pass (eligible industry respondents only)
Each winner will receive one prize only.
Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
Prizes must not be resold at a premium or used by the winner for advertising, promotional or other commercial purposes.
If a prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to applicable law and any required regulatory approval.
7. Draw Details
The draw will take place at 10:00am on 23 November 2026 at the Promoter’s office at 8 Regent St N, Adelaide SA 5000.
ACDT refers to Adelaide daylight saving time.
One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries using an electronic random number generator. Each valid entry will have an equal chance of winning. Winners do not need to attend the draw.
8. Winner Notification and Prize Delivery
Winners will be notified by email and/or telephone within two business days of the draw.
The notification will explain how to claim the prize and how it will be delivered or collected. The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact each winner using the details provided with their entry.
Entrants are responsible for providing accurate contact details.
9. Publication of Results
Winners’ first initials, surnames and postcodes will be published on the promotion results page at:

Results will be published within seven days of the draw and remain available for at least 28 days.
10. Prize Claims
Winners must claim their prize by responding to the Promoter’s notification by 11:59pm ACST on 7 December 2026.
The Promoter may request reasonable evidence of identity and eligibility before awarding a prize.
If a winner declines a prize, is found to be ineligible or does not claim the prize by the deadline, the prize will be dealt with in accordance with section 11, applicable South Australian requirements and any directions from the relevant regulatory authority.
11. Unclaimed Prizes and Redraw
Subject to applicable South Australian requirements and any necessary regulatory approval or directions, a draw for any unclaimed or forfeited prizes will take place at 10:00am ACDT on 14 December 2026 at the Promoter’s office at 8 Regent St N, Adelaide SA 5000.
Any redraw will use the same random selection method as the original draw. Previous winners and invalid entries will be excluded.
Redraw winners will be notified by email and/or telephone within two business days. Their first initials, surnames and postcodes will be published on the promotion results page within seven days and remain available for at least 28 days.
Redraw winners will have 30 days from the redraw to claim their prize. Any prizes remaining unclaimed will be dealt with in accordance with applicable South Australian requirements and any directions from the relevant regulatory authority.
12. Entry Verification
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants, including identity, age and residency.
The Promoter may disqualify an entrant who tampers with the entry process or submits an entry that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Entries containing insufficient or unreadable information to establish eligibility or contact the entrant will be invalid.
Failure by the Promoter to enforce a right at any stage does not constitute a waiver of that right.
The Promoter’s decisions concerning the administration of the promotion are final, subject to applicable law and any rights to complain to the relevant regulatory authority.
13. Interference or Disruption
If the promotion is affected by fraud, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failure or another event beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may, to the extent permitted by law:

Disqualify entries affected by misconduct; or

Modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, subject to any required regulatory approval or directions.
Any material changes will be published on the promotion results page.
14. Liability
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its officers, employees and agents exclude liability for loss, damage or injury arising from:

Technical difficulties or equipment malfunction;

Theft, unauthorised access or third-party interference;
-
Entries or prize claims that are late, lost, damaged or misdirected due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control;

Any tax liability incurred by an entrant or winner; or
-
The use or redemption of a prize.
15. Privacy
The Promoter collects and uses entrants’ personal information to administer the prize draw, verify eligibility, contact winners, arrange prize delivery and publish results as described in these Terms and Conditions.
Providing the information required for prize draw entry is optional, but participants who do not provide it cannot enter the draw.
The Promoter may disclose information to agents, contractors and service providers where reasonably necessary to administer the promotion, or where required by law.
By entering, participants consent to publication of their first initial, surname and postcode if they win.
Entry does not constitute consent to receive unrelated promotional or marketing communications.
