Distinguished/Outstanding Service Award

This is granted to individuals with at least 5 years of ISPE membership who have provided significant leadership, dedication, and contribution to the Society over a period of time in at least one of the following areas:

• Mentoring: As evidenced by impacting the careers of ISPE members and highlight mentoring relationships
• Teaching/education: As evidenced by promoting pharmacoepidemiologic science through ISPE courses, webinars, or other educational fora
• Policy/advocacy: As evidenced by efforts toward translating pharmacoepidemiologic evidence into meaningful public health action through ISPE-related advocacy
• Collaboration: As evidenced by exhibiting leadership within ISPE across sectors, through global capacity-building, or via strategic partnerships with organizations
• Service to enhance the Society: As evidenced by actively supporting ISPE Communities, the Board, and the ongoing work of ISPE
• Other distinguished/outstanding service area: As evidenced embodying the ISPE Mission and Vision via leadership and service to ISPE that is above and beyond

Nominations must consist of at least two letters of recommendation from ISPE members clearly stating the reasons supporting the nomination; one of the recommendation letters must be from someone outside of the nominee's organization. If nominating for multiple areas, then letters of recommendation should cover multiple areas. 

The ISPE Fellowship and Awards Committee will review applications and grant up to TWO awards each year.
