Personalized or N-of-1 genomic therapies are opening new possibilities for treating patients with rare genetic conditions. Advances in technology are making it increasingly possible to identify a patient’s specific disease-causing variant and rapidly design a therapy tailored to that individual. This Bagels & Biotech session will explore the emerging science and real-world development of personalized genomic therapies, ethical and practical questions raised by their development and delivery, and what it would take to create more sustainable and accessible pathways for highly individualized treatments.
