ST Alerts Passenger Research Qualifying Survey

Overview

Sound Transit wants to learn from passengers about what information they need to successfully complete their trips on Sound Transit trains and buses, how they need it, and when. Your input will directly help improve rider alerts.

We invite you to volunteer for one of two paid research studies, both taking place between September 29, 2026 and October 16, 2026:

Interview - Remote or in-person for 60 minutes, opportunity to earn $125 to $150
Journal study - Remote only, opportunity to earn up to $200, includes an orientation (15 minutes), journal entries and short surveys (daily for 1 week), and an exit interview (30 minutes)

What to expect

By completing this survey, you are volunteering to participate but not guaranteed a spot in the study. There are a limited number of sessions. A researcher from Anthro-Tech will contact you through email if you are selected. Participation is voluntary.
