Foundations on the Hill 2027: Session Proposal Form

Thank you for your interest in presenting at Foundations on the Hill 2027, March 1-4 at the JW Marriott Washington, DC. The proposal deadline is Friday, October 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET.

This form takes about 25 minutes to complete. We recommend drafting your responses separately and pasting them in, since the form does not save partial progress. Questions marked with an asterisk are required.

Who May Submit

We are accepting proposals from:

  • Philanthropy-infrastructure organizations
  • Think tanks, nonprofits, and other organizations working on advocacy and policy
  • Funders, intermediaries, and giving circle networks working in partnership with philanthropy-infrastructure organizations
  • Advisors, academic partners, and cross-sector institutions

Joint submissions across organizations are strongly encouraged and reflect the collaborative nature of our advocacy and policy work.

How Proposals Will Be Reviewed

The inaugural Foundations on the Hill planning committee, composed of Forum members and aligned partners, will review all proposals against the following criteria:

  • Relevance. Connection to the sector's current policy and advocacy environment and to the needs of FOTH attendees.
  • Learning outcomes. Clarity and usefulness of what participants will take away.
  • Engagement design. Strength of the participatory approach and the balance between presentation and discussion.
  • Presenter expertise. Depth of experience relevant to the session topic.
  • Diversity of presenters and perspectives. Range of voices, organizations, and experiences represented.
  • Program balance. Fit within the overall program across focus areas, formats, and audience levels.

Selected presenters are responsible for their own registration and travel costs.

Find full details on the Call for Session Proposals webpage.

Proposals are due Friday, October 30, 2026.
