Who is this survey for?
This survey is for farmers and primary producers, including grain growers, livestock producers and mixed farming businesses. It focuses on the direct impacts of drought on farm businesses and operations.
This survey forms part of a broader joint project by Grain Producers SA and Livestock SA to understand the economic impacts of the successive drought seasons experienced across South Australia during 2024 and 2025. Your responses will help quantify the impacts on farming businesses, regional communities and the wider economy.
The research is being independently managed by Square Holes. Responses are confidential and will only be reported in aggregate. Some questions ask for approximate financial information. These are optional but will significantly improve the quality of the economic analysis.
