Over the past year, Rochester Public Schools has engaged in an extensive planning process to shape the RPS 2030 Strategic Plan. That process included community feedback sessions, focus groups with families across the district, and input gathered directly from staff and students. The initial identified priorities and plan outline were approved by the RPS School Board in May 2026, and this summer, project leads and their teams engaged in in-depth planning to prepare each priority for implementation.
What follows are the priorities that emerged from that work: Challenged Students, Purposeful Pathways, Supportive Communities, and Organizational Excellence. Within each priority are the specific projects RPS will focus on over the next four years.
This form asks for your feedback on the projects identified for inclusion in the strategic plan. For each project, you have the opportunity to share the positives, drawbacks, concerns, and questions. You don't need to respond to every area. Focus on the ones where you have something to add.
The feedback form will close at the end of the day on September 10.
