7. Accommodations: Trip price includes mountain tea-houses and hotels shared 2-person rooms with separate beds unless otherwise requested such as a larger, single bed for 2 persons or, if the single supplement fee is paid, a single-occupancy room. Note¹: Single-occupancy rooms may not be available for some of the trekking day. Outfitter will try to obtain single-occupancy rooms for each day, but cannot guarantee two of the nights - this does not change the single supplement price. Note²: In the case in which an uneven number of solo travelers of the same gender request double-occupancy rooms with separate beds, but pairs cannot be arranged with a same-gender person, that person may need to pay the single-supplement fee. This situation cannot be determined until the roster is completely filled with 12 participants. When accepting applicants, Leader will make every effort to avoid this situation.

If you have not specified a roommate for the entirety of the trip, roommates of the same gender will be assigned and may be rotated every few days throughout the trip. Unexpected circumstances may require a change in lodging configurations.

18. Travel as a group and embrace the Mountaineers’ spirit: Our extended multi-day travel experience mirrors the spirit of the Mountaineers’ day trips. We utilize our Mountaineers' group skills, speak up when necessary, and stay together on the trail, even if it means we’re going a bit slower or a bit faster than our personal preference. This allows us to get to know each other better while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. We recognize that some things are beyond our control and must make adjustments to ensure the safety of the group. For meals, let’s ensure everyone is included, has a place at the table and is included in our conversations.

Let us know whether you are comfortable with a travel style that prioritizes the safety, inclusiveness and collective preferences of the group when determining route adjustments, and side trips, even when these decisions may differ from your personal preferences. The hikes on this trip are rated easy/moderate as defined by The Mountaineers Hiking Standards (link).
