Extreme Heat in Pierce County - Community Survey

Pierce County is seeing more days with very hot weather. These conditions can affect our health, homes, incomes, and daily routines.

Some people feel the effects of hot weather more than others. This can include:
  • People working outdoors
  • Older adults
  • People living with chronic health conditions
  • People with lower incomes
  • Residents living in older buildings or with unstable housing
  • People who have experienced difficult events
  • People living in neighborhoods with fewer trees or places to stay cool
We want to understand what you and your community need to stay safe and cool during very hot weather. Your answers will help improve local support and planning.
