The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) collects personal information for the purpose of processing and determining a Student Appeal Against School Assessment.
The collection of your personal information enables the Authority to process your appeal and, where necessary, communicate with you and relevant school personnel regarding the appeal.
The personal information you provide will be disclosed only to authorised Authority personnel involved in administering the appeal process, members of the Appeals Student Appeal Against School Assessment Committee, and relevant school staff, where required, to investigate and determine the appeal.
If the Authority wishes to disclose your personal information for purposes other than those stated, your consent will be requested unless the disclosure is permitted under or by law.
The collection of this personal information is authorised under the provisions of the
School Curriculum and Standards Authority Act 1997.
If you choose not to provide your personal information, the Authority will be unable to process, investigate, or determine your appeal.
