URI Europe Regional Coordinator - Summary Description
Location: Remote - Europe Area

Job Summary:
URI seeks to engage an independent contractor to deliver a defined package of network-development,
communications, and program-support services for Europe as described below. This is a project-based service
engagement delivered under a Statement of Work; it is not a role within URI's internal staffing structure. The
Contractor determines independently how, when, and by what methods the deliverables below are produced, subject only to the deadlines and standards specified in the applicable Statement of Work.
The Contractor will align their activities with URI's 2025–2030 Strategic Framework and uphold the Preamble,
Purpose and Principles stated in the URI Charter. This engagement does not create an employer-employee relationship. The Contractor is not entitled to employee benefits, workers' compensation, unemployment insurance, or any other employment-related benefits, and is responsible for all applicable taxes on compensation received. The Contractor is not part of URI's internal reporting structure, is not supervised by URI staff, and is not held out — internally or externally — as a URI employee.
Qualification:
- Fluent reading, writing, and speaking of English. Fluency in languages relevant to Europe. Additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Proficiency with software tools such as Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Email, Drive, etc.), Canva, WhatsApp, Zoom, social media (Facebook, Instagram, X), basic data management systems and use of and familiarity with AI tools.
- Ability to use URI's Connect App to support network growth and impact.
- University Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
