2026 Borkowski Family Scholarship Application

The Borkowski Family Scholarship, generously funded by Nancy Borkowski and family, provides up to three full-time doctoral students each year assistance in pursuing the Art of Teaching Institute Certificate for Teaching in Healthcare Management. Each recipient will receive $400 towards the total cost of the Certificate.

All applications must be submitted by Thursday, October 1, 2026, 11:59PM Pacific Time.

Are you currently a member of AUPHA?
Only doctoral students who are members of AUPHA are eligible for this Scholarship. To be considered, you must be a member at the time of your submission. For more information about individual membership, please visit AUPHA's website or contact Chris Sanyer at csanyer@aupha.org.
Please upload your personal statement detailing your interest in the Certificate for Teaching in Healthcare Management. Your statement should speak to the training you have done thus far related to teaching and what you hope to accomplish by pursuing the Certificate.
Please upload a letter of recommendation from your doctoral program director of your faculty advisor. Your recommendation letter should be written by someone who can provide specific examples of your passion for learning and interest in teaching.
