ACT Volunteer Award
This award recognises an exceptional ACT volunteer or mentor who has made a significant contribution to developing people, strengthening the treasury profession, and supporting the ACT community through their time, expertise and dedication.
Entry Criteria
- Nomination deadline - Friday 13 November 2026
- This category is open to individuals from corporates, banks or FIs and treasury suppliers
- Nominees must be a current ACT Member (including Affiliate Member*) or Student Member
*An Affiliate Membership can be purchased at the time of entering the award
- Individuals can be based anywhere in the world
- There are no age restrictions
- Individuals can self-nominate or be entered by someone else
- If you are nominating someone else, you do not have to be a current ACT Member or Student
- You must declare if the individual is your client
- You can provide slides, imagery and additional documentation as supporting evidence, but it will not be assessed as part of your overall score only to provide context to your statement

Category Criteria
- Word count: under 1000 words (approx. 2 sides of A4 12-point font)
- In this statement you must provide clear examples and details on what you or your nominated individual has achieved.

Demonstrates outstanding dedication to supporting ACT activities, programmes, events, or initiatives
Consistently gives their time, expertise, and energy to benefit the ACT and its members
Mentoring & Talent Development
Provides guidance, coaching, or mentoring that helps individuals grow professionally and personally
Actively supports the development of future treasury professionals and emerging talent
Impact & Contribution
Has made a meaningful and measurable difference to individuals, programmes, or the wider ACT community
Demonstrates sustained impact through their involvement and contributions
Leadership & Inspiration
Acts as a positive role model within the treasury profession and ACT community
Inspires others to engage, volunteer, mentor, or contribute to the profession
Advocacy & Ambassadorship
Promotes the ACT and the treasury profession through active participation and engagement
Helps raise awareness of treasury careers, professional development, and the value of ACT membership
Collaboration & Inclusivity
Creates a welcoming and supportive environment for members at all career stages
Champions diversity, inclusion, and opportunities for others to participate and succeed
Lasting Legacy
Has made a contribution that continues to benefit individuals, the ACT community, or the profession beyond a single initiative or event
