2026 MNEA Board Nominations Form

Thank you for deciding to apply for the MNEA Board! You will be asked to provide the following information:
  1. Your contact information
  2. The position or positions you are applying for
  3. A brief statement about why you are interested in the position or positions
  4. Your previous involvement and/or association with MNEA or another American Evaluation Association affiliate
  5. Any experience you have serving on nonprofit boards, or similar roles, and include the name of the organization and position(s) you held.
  6. Your evaluation-related experience or relationship to the field of evaluation, including years of experience. Your experience may include positions you have held, projects you have worked on, coursework, etc. If you are currently in school studying evaluation, please include information about your program and anticipated graduation date.
  7. MNEA's mission is to provide a multidisciplinary platform for evaluators to strengthen knowledge, skills, and connections in service of advancing equity through evaluation in Minnesota and beyond. How can you support MNEA in this work?
  8. Your capacity to complete Board Member duties for the position(s) you have applied for, including: prepare for and attend board and committee meetings, review materials for meetings, plan and attend events, and lead initiatives
  9. Your availability to participate in board meetings on the 4th Monday of the month from 5-7 pm
  10. Your capacity to participate in in-person retreats and events
  11. Your capacity to support programming and events
  12. To the extent that you feel comfortable, please share if there is anything you need to support your participation in virtual and/or in-person board meetings, retreats, or MNEA events. (optional)
  13. We want to hear from you in your own words! We also recognize that AI can be a valuable tool for people who may otherwise have barriers to applying for the board.
