The Federal Data Excellence Awards – a collaboration between the Partnership for Public Service and USAFacts – recognizes and celebrates federal data teams for their work to improve public trust in government by making government data transparent and accessible.

Eligibility
- Nominators of a data product must be a federal employee and use a federal email address, but products built, in whole or in part, by a federal contractor will be considered.
- Nominators do not have to be a member of the agency or team that produced the data product.
- The data product and underlying data must be managed by a federal agency but does not have to be composed solely of federal data.
- The data product must be accessible by a publicly available link and have no special access requirements.
