Apply to attend the Canadian Mental Health Association's Mental Health First Aid Essentials Course

The SEIU-West Education Committee is pleased to sponsor up to six (6) SEIU-West members to attend the MHFA Essentials one-day course on October 26th, 2026.
Location: Canadian Mental Health Association Saskatoon office @ 1301 Ave P North Saskatoon
Date: October 26 from 9:00am-4:00pm
Your completed Expression of Interest Form must be received on or before September 1st, 2026 in order to allow us to complete selection process for funding. 
*We will contact the successful applicants after the deadline. We will pay for registration and register you. 
We will book you a hotel room if required, and we will send you our Member Expense Form to reimburse your costs of mileage, meals, and wages/per diem as per our policies.

14. Given the policy of SEIU-West requires members to submit a report within 30 days of the school, do you commit to writing and submitting this report?   *This question is required.
15. If you live 200 km or more from the location, your Union will cover the cost of a hotel room for the evening before the training. Do you live more than 200km from Saskatoon?  *This question is required.
