FY 2027 TCRP J-05, Legal Aspects of Transit and Intermodal Transportation Programs

The TCRP Legal Research Program sponsors practical, practitioner-focused research on legal issues affecting public transportation agencies and the communities they serve. The program develops research products that help transit agencies, attorneys, policymakers, and industry professionals address emerging legal, regulatory, governance, and operational challenges.

We invite members of the transit community to help shape the future of transit legal research by submitting ideas for new research topics.

The TCRP Legal Research Program has provided a Problem Statement Template to assist you in describing the issue, why it matters, and the research needed.
