18. Travel as a group and embrace the Mountaineers’ spirit: Our extended multi-day travel experience mirrors the spirit of the Mountaineers’ day trips. We utilize our Mountaineers' group skills, speak up when necessary, and stay together on the trail, even if it means we’re going a bit slower or a bit faster than our personal preference. This allows us to get to know each other better while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. We recognize that some things are beyond our control and must make adjustments to ensure the safety of the group. For meals, let’s ensure everyone is included, has a place at the table and is included in our conversations.

Let us know whether you are comfortable with a travel style that prioritizes the safety, inclusiveness and collective preferences of the group when determining route adjustments, and side trips, even when these decisions may differ from your personal preferences. The hikes on this trip are rated easy/moderate as defined by The Mountaineers Hiking Standards (link).
