Scholarship Application - 2026 NWA Fall Conferences

National WIC Association (NWA) is offering four (4) scholarships each to attend our fall conferences, to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) Local Agency or ITO WIC staff with active NWA membership. We are delighted to offer the opportunity as a part of our commitment to diversity and inclusion in our work.

This application requires a 500 personal statement. Please prepare that statement before you submit your application. You may pause, save your answers, and return to the survey at any time by using the Save and Continue feature that appears on the top of the second and following pages.

  • Need for Scholarship: Clearly explain your need for this opportunity, including any financial, time-sensitive, or job-related factors.
  • Goals and Future Application: Detail what you hope to gain from attending the conference and describe your plans for applying what you learn in the future.

The deadline for both scholarship applications is midnight Friday, July 31st, 2026. Late applications will not be accepted.

What do these scholarships include?
