UMC Monroe - Summer Bible Reading

Summer Bible Reading Challenge
Thank you for exploring our Summer Bible Reading Challenge, inspired by this week's message from Chris Shope, one of our recent confirmands.

In his message, Chris shared how spending time in God's Word can help us grow closer to Him. Summer often brings a different pace to our lives, so why not use this season as an opportunity to take one small step closer to God?

Whether you already read the Bible regularly or rarely open it at all, this isn't meant to be intimidating or overwhelming. The goal isn't perfection—it's simply to encourage each of us to do a little more than we might otherwise do between now and the end of summer.

If you're willing, we invite you to make a personal commitment to spend some time in God's Word this summer and see where God leads you.

2 Timothy 3:16-17
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
