AI and Patient Safety

Welcome, and thank you for being here.

Elsevier and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) have joined forces to understand how AI is really affecting patient safety, not in theory, but in the daily reality of the people delivering care.

Together, we are gathering insights directly from physicians, nurses, and healthcare leaders to understand where AI is helping patient safety and where it needs closer oversight. The findings will inform reports, conference presentations, and guidance shared with the global patient safety community.

The survey takes just a few minutes. Responses are anonymous and reported in aggregate only, and you can request a copy of the results at the end.
