Recent studies show fraternities are an accelerator for success, fraternities create lifelong connections to one's campus and friends, and fraternity members experience stronger mental health than their peers. We also know fraternities can sometimes be expensive, particularly in the first few months. For some, that can be a deterrent from joining our cherished brotherhood.
To help alleviate that hardship and reduce that barrier to entry, the Beta Theta Pi Foundation is offering select chapters and colonies the opportunity to nominate new members for scholarships who are joining Beta Theta Pi. Per the direction of local chapter leadership, the Beta Foundation is providing $500 - $1,000 scholarships to individuals most in need. The minimum scholarship amount per person is $500, while the maximum scholarship amount per person is $1,000. Those nominated will be asked to submit a very short application to receive the $500 - $1,000 scholarship.
Chapter leaders, please submit this form to nominate the new member whose financial burdens of membership will be relieved by the scholarship(s). Note that nomination does not guarantee that the new member(s) you identify will receive the assistance. Still, the Foundation will ensure those you nominate know this opportunity is available to them.
