NCHC Vintage '66 Merchandise Design Contest Entry Form

Contest Information

The National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) was founded in 1966 and is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2026. To mark this milestone, NCHC is launching a limited-edition “Vintage ’66” merchandise line—a collection of retro-inspired goods that capture the spirit of the organization’s founding era while speaking to today’s honors students and faculty.

We are inviting student graphic designers across NCHC member institutions to submit original artwork that will be considered for production on official NCHC anniversary merchandise. Students must be in good standing with their honors program at the time of submission.

  • Designs should be created at actual size or with proportional artboards clearly labeled
  • Color mode: CMYK for print; include a Pantone (PMS) equivalent for each major color used
  • Fonts must be outlined or embedded; a separate font list must be included
  • A JPG or PNG mockup preview (minimum 300 DPI) is required for each submission
  • Designs must be entirely original; no clip art, stock assets, or AI-generated imagery
