Avondale Heights - Proposed Shared Path Survey - Community Survey

Council has observed pedestrians and cyclists using an informal crossing across the Milleara Road drainage reserve in Avondale Heights. In response, we are planning a shared path to provide a more direct and efficient connection between existing paths.

The proposed path will run from the western side of Templewood Crescent, along Tea Gardens Drive, and connect to the eastern side of the reserve across the open channel. It will link existing paths and provide a safer and more accessible route for people walking and cycling through the area.

A new speed cushion is also proposed in Templewood Crescent to reduce vehicle speeds near the Tea Gardens Drive intersection and improve road safety.
