Strong partnerships were the foundation of the original authorization for Silos & Smokestacks National Heritage Area (SSNHA) and remain as important for Silos & Smokestacks 30 years later. In honor of our 30th Anniversary, we will renew our commitment with you, heritage area sites, through Regional Recommitment Meetings during the month of July 2026.
We are asking each designated SSNHA Heritage Area Site to attend one meeting. You are welcome to bring as many folks as you'd like.
We are anticipating 12-20 sites participating in each ceremony. Attendees will include Heritage Area sites and SSNHA Trustees/Staff.

- Thursday, July 9, 10 am – Hampton – Harriman Nielsen Historic Farm
- Tuesday, July 14, 10 am – West Union – Fayette County Historical Center
- Thursday, July 16, 10 am – Maquoketa – Hurstville Interpretive Center
- Tuesday, July 21, 10 am – Cambridge – Center Grove Orchard
- Thursday, July 23, 10 am – Waterloo - John Deere Tractor & Engine Museum
