Any section-managed conferences that are not grandfathered in (see “Approved Events” in the SPE Event Portfolio Management Policy) must obtain Technical Content Committee approval as outlined in the Policy. The approval is for the conference to occur and for the papers to be published on OnePetro. Sections have two options to publish - Traditional Publishing or Open Access Publishing.
