TWA 2026 Summer Conference - Volunteer Sign Up

Lake LBJ Trash Pickup – Volunteer Service Project Sign Up

Date, Time & Meeting Location: Wednesday, June 17, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. We will meet near Granite Shoals at 9:00 a.m. to get checked in and set up (location address will be confirmed by email closer to the event date)

Project description: In partnership with the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) and the Colorado River Alliance (CRA), TWA volunteers will help clean up trash along Lake LBJ, with opportunities to participate either by kayak or along the shoreline. Supplies, kayaks, and lunch will be provided.

Sign Up is required and will close on June 8. Unfortunately, we cannot accept walk ups at the event.

Note: There are a limited number of kayaks available; selecting "yes" for this option does not guarantee that you will be assigned a kayak. Volunteers who are assigned to kayaks will be required to sign any additional safety and liability waivers prior to entering the water at designated launch points. No lifeguards will be on site and safety gear is required to be worn.  *This question is required.
