SCAI SHOCK 2026 PRECON: The Essentials of a Building a Cardiogenic Shock Program/Team Workshop: Team Application

This course is designed for a multi-disciplinary team of cardiogenic shock leaders who have real world experience running and participating in a cardiogenic shock program. Topics to include:

  • Contemporary Look at the Treatment of Cardiogenic Shock
  • Nuts and Bolts of Implementing a Shock Team
  • The Finances of a Shock Team
  • Interactive Team Discussions

  • SCAI is inviting a limited number of multi-disciplinary teams to join us at SCAI SHOCK 2026 for a sponsored workshop, “Building a Cardiogenic Shock Program.” 
  • Teams from different backgrounds and level of experience will come together to share their ideas, struggles and lessons learned.
Details:
  • We are looking for teams local to St. Louis and non-local teams 
  • Teams must include at least three people and include multi-disciplinary team members including but not limited to cardiologists, intensivists, surgeons, nurses, APP and hospital administration 
Schedule: 
  • Pre-Conference Webinar: Thursday, Aug. 27 at 7 pm ET
  • Exclusive Team Workshop: Thursday, September 17, 12 pm – 5 pm
  • Post-Conference 3-month and 9-month follow up sessions: December 17 and June 17 at 6 pm ET
Funding:
  • This workshop is pending industry funding. If supported, invited teams will receive free registration for up to 7 team members and a two (2) night stay for up to 4 team members at our host hotel.
