Arapahoe County Elections Facility Tours

Please review the details and rule below before registering for a tour.

Details:
  • Tours last approximately 40 minutes but may be a little shorter/longer.
  • The Elections Facility is essentially a large warehouse, without refreshments, water or easy access to restrooms. Please plan accordingly.
  • We take the health and safety of our full-time staff and election judges very seriously.  Please do not attend if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, Arapahoe County voters need our staff to stay healthy!      
Tour Rules and Requirements:
  • Visitors will be required to sign in and wear a “Visitor” badge at all times.
  • Please do not bring bags, purses, fanny packs, backpacks or other personal belongings with you. We will provide a locker for such items, but the best advice is to leave them at home. You may bring a water bottle or thermos cup.
  • No taking of photos, nor any audio/video recording is permitted.
  • We will not entertain debates or arguments of a political or similar nature.
  • Disrespectful, disruptive or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. Anyone exhibiting such behavior will be asked to leave immediately.
  • Tours will be limited to the first 20 people to register. If demand for a tour is high, we may give preference to Arapahoe County residents over non-County residents.
  • All attendees must register separately for a spot on a tour (if you want to come with a friend or guest they must also register individually so we have a proper head count).
  • If you register for a tour but cannot attend for any reason, please email tskelley@arapahoegov.com as early as possible to open up the spot for someone else.
Elections officials and workers have been targets of threats in recent years. We are doing our best to balance transparency with the security and safety of our election judges, visitors and staff. Registering for a tour affirms that you understand and agree to follow the rules set forth above. Attendees who cannot abide by these rules will be asked to leave.

Tour Dates & Times:
  • Monday, June 22 at 9:30 a.m.
  • Wednesday, June 24 at 11 a.m.
  • Friday, June 26 at 9 a.m.
  • Friday, June 26 at 1 p.m.

Priority will be given to Arapahoe County residents if tour registration exceeds capacity.
