Call for Presenters: October 29, 2026- School Safety Expo

Applicants should be aware of the following:

• Submission of a breakout session does not guarantee selection.
• Biographies of all presenters and co-presenters are required at the time of application submission.
• All biographies, breakout session descriptions, and contact information must be submitted online. Co-presenter(s) information must be provided when submitting the application. 
  • Additional presenters may not be added to the application once submitted.
  • A maximum of 2 co-presenters per application may be submitted.
• Please be informed that breakout sessions will take place during two time blocks: 12:00 PM – 12:45 PM and 1:30 PM – 2:15 PM. Presenters may choose to lead a session in one or both time slots. Each breakout session will be 45 minutes in length, unless otherwise stated and approved in advance.
• Meeting rooms will be equipped with:
  • - Computer
  • - Sound System
  • - Widescreen LCD Projector (HDMI) and Screen
  • - Presenter Remote
  • - Microphone(s) (depending on room size)
• If you require additional A/V needs, you must email us your special request by October 1, 2026.
• If the proposal is selected, presenters will be notified via e-mail no later than September 7, 2026.
• If the proposal is selected, the Region 4 Education Service Center reserves the right to revise presentation titles, presenter bio, reassign the identified topic area, or edit the program summary for program material.
• If the proposal is selected, all presenters will be responsible for all travel and lodging expenses. 
• If the proposal is selected, you grant Region 4 ESC the right to photograph or video for use in social media or printed promotional material. 
• Should the proposal be selected, business attire shall be worn by the presenter(s), unless otherwise agreed between the presenter and the Region 4 OEMSS.

Presentation Slides and handouts must be submitted for review by October 1, 2026, to ensure alignment with legislative content requirements. If you do not submit your documents by the deadline, you will be removed as a presenter during a breakout session.
