Who Can Apply & How It Works
The Edge Build Challenge is open to individuals 18 years or older who reside in the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia. Employees of Kreg Tool and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
This is an application-based program—participants are not selected at random. We’ll review each application to find builders who are a great fit for the challenge.
Submitting an application does not guarantee selection. We have a limited number of spots available, and participants will be selected by Kreg based on the application criteria below.
When selecting participants, Kreg will evaluate applications based on:
- ability to complete the challenge based on your experience level and skillset;
- suitability for the program and alignment of your goals for the challenge;
- The thoughtfulness and completeness of your responses; and
- Your availability to participate throughout the full challenge and ability to create useful and engaging project content.
Selected participants will be contacted by email by July 15, 2026. Due to the volume of applications, only selected participants will be contacted.

What to Expect
If selected, participants are expected to actively take part in the full challenge experience and complete a project using the Kreg Edge.
As part of participation, you’ll be asked to:
- Build a project using the Kreg Edge
- Capture and share photo(s) and/or video(s) of you using the Edge during your build
- Provide photos of your finished project
- Submit at least one photo of yourself with your completed project
- Complete a short questionnaire about your experience using the Edge
We’re excited to see your builds come to life, and these submissions help us inspire and educate other makers in the Kreg community.
By participating, you understand that your submitted content may be displayed publicly on KregTool.com and other Kreg channels as part of the challenge and related promotions.

A Few Additional Notes
Kreg reserves the right to modify, pause, or cancel the challenge or selection process at any time for any reason, including but not limited to fraud, technical issues, or insufficient participation.
By applying, you agree that, if selected, your project work, photos, videos, and participation may be used by Kreg for inspiration, education, and promotional purposes without additional compensation, as described in the official rules.

Additional Opportunity: Featured Project Voting
As part of the Edge Build Challenge, completed projects may be featured on KregTool.com for a community voting experience.
Selected participants may have their projects displayed publicly, where visitors can vote for their favorite builds.
The featured project with the highest overall score—based on a combined evaluation of 60% expert judging and 40% public voting—will receive a $500 KregTool.com gift code, subject to verification and compliance with the official rules.
Kreg reserves the right to review and validate votes and to disqualify any votes or participants suspected of fraudulent or automated activity.
