University of Illinois will assess a late payment charge of $1.00 or 1.5%, whichever is greater, per month on any delinquent balance. Account balances 60 days or more past due will be assessed a past due charge of $2.00 per month in addition to the late payment charge.

Accounts Receivable Processing is a self-paced online course designed for staff who need to know how to process charges and credits to students (SAR) in the Accounts Receivable module of Banner. The University Bursar Delegated Agent Late Payment Charge Reversal form is the formal request that will be submitted to University Bursar to establish staff as a Delegated Agent.
