
2026 MN Comprehensive Aging Survey

This survey asks adults who are 60 years or older about their experiences, needs, and daily lives. Your answers will help the State of Minnesota plan for and improve services and support for older adults across the state.
- The Minnesota Department of Human Services has partnered with Vital Research, an independent research firm, to conduct the survey.
- The survey is voluntary. You do not have to participate. To be eligible, you must live in Minnesota and be aged 60 or older. Your decision to participate, or your answers, will not affect any benefits or services you receive.
- All the information you tell us will be kept private. We will combine your answers with those of other participants when we share the survey results publicly. Your answers will not be linked to your name or identity.
- Some may become distressed or feel uncomfortable when asked to answer questions about topics such as health status, caregiving, safety, or unmet needs. If this happens, please feel free to skip any questions or stop the survey at any time.
- The survey will take about 20 minutes to complete. You can stop at any time or skip any questions you do not want to answer. There are no right or wrong answers.
