2026 Play Ball Weekend Event - Interest

Play Ball Events are hosted as an opportunity to get kids active and engaged by playing ball! These one-day events are designed to create a fun, low-pressure environment where kids can enjoy the game.

Each event follows a structured “Game Plan” which outlines the flow of the day. This includes a detailed breakdown of stations and drills that participants will rotate through—such as throwing, hitting, base running and fielding.

Example Event Timing:

  • Set-Up: 9:00 am 
  • Check-In: 9:30 am
  • Event Start: 10 am
  • Stations: 10 am - 11 am (15 minute stations)
  • Bat & Ball set hand out: 11:00 am - 11:15 am (Event Concludes)
  • Clean Up: 11:15 am - 11:30 am

10. Play Ball Events need to fall on MLB's Play Ball Weekend and can be used as a celebration/opening day June 5-7.
