Instructions
  • Complete all sections of this application form. Responses will be used to assess applicant eligibility, program fit, and potential for interdisciplinary team formation.
  • This form is intended for graduate students and senior undergraduate students in STEM or business disciplines with strong interest in commercialization, opportunity development, and applied problem solving.
  • The information you provide in this form will be kept confidential and used solely for program evaluation and matching purposes. Your data will be collected, used, and retained in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.
  • Please do not include confidential, proprietary, or unpublished information that should not be shared through an application form.
  • If selected, participation in the program is conditional upon signing the Participant Confidentiality and Intellectual Property Agreement before receiving access to RBC materials.

Key Dates and Program Expectations
  • Application deadline: May 15, 2026.
  • Program period: June 15, 2026 to August 31, 2026.
  • Program format: 12 weeks, including weekly 90-minute workshops and weekly mentor and team meetings.
Applicants should be prepared for consistent weekly participation and collaborative work in interdisciplinary teams of four.
1. Eligibility and Commitment
To confirm that you meet the basic requirements of the program and can participate fully if selected.
 
1. In June 2026, I will be enrolled as a graduate student or as a senior undergraduate student in a relevant program. *This question is required.
2. I am available to participate in the full program period from June 15, 2026 to August 31, 2026. *This question is required.
3. I am able to attend weekly workshops and weekly team or mentor meetings throughout the program. *This question is required.
4. I am willing to work in an interdisciplinary team of four students.
5. I understand that, if selected, participation is conditional upon signing the Participant Confidentiality and Intellectual Property Agreement.
