Beyond the Farmgate is an event series designed to bring farmers closer to the market by showcasing the full food supply chain, from processors and manufacturers through to retailers and the consumer. The event aims to build understanding of how value is added beyond the farmgate, the challenges faced at each stage of the chain, and how changing consumer expectations, regulation, and sustainability goals influence decision-making and pricing. Farmers will gain first-hand insight into sourcing requirements, costs, and pressures across the industry, while being encouraged to collaborate, share knowledge, and explore new ideas for resilience, innovation and diversification that help them better position their businesses for the future.
