2026 National Audience Survey Participating Organization

Page One

Thanks very much for your interest in participating in the 2026 National Audience Survey, organized by Art House Convergence (AHC)!

If you sign up below, here's what you can expect:
  1. We are developing a common set of survey questions based on topics that are of interest to theaters and other exhibitors, including questions about demographics, how people decide about what films to see and where, what programs and offers increase frequency, the role of repertory titles and more.
  2. You'll receive a unique link to the survey to distribute to audience members through email, social media, in person, etc.
  3. All questions will be customized for your organization so your audience members are answering about YOU.
  4. Once the audience responses are collected, you'll receive a custom report revealing how your members answered all questions and how these compare to other exhibitors throughout the U.S.
Some important terms of participation:
  • To sign up you should be an exhibitor of independent, alternative, repertory, documentary or other film genre outside of the mainstream. Exhibitors can operate physical theaters or screen films in auditoriums and other spaces otherwise used for other purposes. Please don't complete this form if you are a media representative, technology company, distributor or other person or organization that is not an exhibitor.
  • You should have some means of reaching audience members - email, social media, in person, etc.
  • To share the cost of survey design, programming, hosting, analysis and reporting, organizations are asked to pay a one time fee of $300 for AHC members or $500 for non-members. Organizations with multiple locations wishing multiple sets of results should count on paying for each location.
1. Who are you?

Note: If you operate multiple venues and you would like separate questions and reports for more than one group of audience members, please complete this brief form for each venue or other grouping you need.
2. Which of the following best describes your organization?
