The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (National Academies) is seeking nominations for experts to serve on the Standing Committee for Gulf Legacy Offshore Oil and Gas Infrastructure. The committee will support the Gulf Research Program (GRP) in programmatic activities associated with legacy offshore oil and gas infrastructure.

The National Academies is asking the expert committee to review relevant work completed by the GRP, advise on synthesizing relevant GRP-funded research, inform relevant GRP-hosted convenings, and advise the GRP on potential future programmatic opportunities.

The National Academies value a wide range of perspectives to strengthen the quality of our work. We carefully consider alternative viewpoints when formulating advice, convening experts with differing experience and perspectives, providing oversight, and conducting all other activities, and strive to foster an environment where all can participate fully. We welcome your suggestions for a broad range of experts to work with us.
