The
Southern Africa Gender Protocol Alliance is a “network of networks” that campaigned for the SADC Protocol on Gender and Development and now works towards its implementation. During International Women’s Month, March 2026, we are conducting a membership mapping exercise across all 16 SADC countries to update the official Alliance database, confirm country network membership, and map participation across thematic clusters.
