Support at Home has brought challenges to consumers and providers alike. The Catalyst Report is working with Ageing Australia and Australian Ageing Agenda to gather headline data on how SaH is impacting business sustainability.
Providers are encouraged to give input via this short survey. High level findings will be published by Australian Ageing Agenda. Survey participants will receive more detailed feedback via (anonymised) graphs. These graphs will enable organisations to see where they sit vs other providers in terms of business impact. This approach and the questions themselves are designed to ensure organisations do not have to reveal commercially sensitive information.
Participants will be asked to provide contact details to receive study feedback and to allow The Catalyst Report to weight each organisation's input based on Y/E 2025 HCP funding.
Ageing Australia will use this early read to continue engaging with government stakeholders on behalf of members.
About the study author
The Catalyst Report specialises in research on the care and accommodation needs of older Australians. Three annual studies gather consumer feedback on Support at Home (March), Retirement Living (July) and Residential Aged Care (November). This culminated in over 30,000 survey responses in 2025. Founder Kevin McCreton has spoken at the last two Ageing Australia National Conferences and will give the opening address at the Invox Support at Home Conference in April.
