The Downtown Oklahoma City Strategic Development Plan will establish an implementable vision for Downtown and Bricktown to build a better future residents, workers, and visitors. The plan will guide land-use, public infrastructure, and private development decisions.
The planning process, led by the City's Planning Department, will create strategic actions on topics such as connectivity and mobility challenges, open space opportunities, commercial redevelopment, downtown residential density, and tourism.
The plan will build on what’s already worked and what’s already been planned, making sure all parts of Downtown are working together toward the best possible outcome.
The study area for this project is depicted in the map below, framed by the Oklahoma River to the south, Western Ave to the west, NW 13th St to the north, and I-235 to the east.
