Cal/OSHA Coachella Valley Safety Series 2026
This March 27, 2026, we are bringing together workers' advocacy groups, labor relations representatives, and organizations to learn about health and safety requirements in the workplace. This convening is an opportunity to learn and discuss workers' rights in the agriculture industry to ensure employee health and safety. The Cal/OSHA Agricultural Unit and Region 3 Enforcement will provide presentations on indoor and outdoor heat illness prevention, field sanitation, workplace violence, wildfire smoke, how to file a complaint with Cal/OSHA, and more. We will be joined by the Labor Commissioner's Office who will speak about CA Child Labor Laws. This event is hosted and brought to you by TODEC, who will also share about their work in the Coachella Valley representing workers.
