You may self-nominate or nominate another Board/alternate Board member to serve. If nominating another Board/alternate Board member to serve, we ask that you confirm their willingness to serve before submitting.

Board Officers: Per the Bylaws, the term of office of the Board Officers shall be two years, commencing during the even-numbered years. The terms of the current Board Officers expire as of April 30, 2026. The newly-elected Board Officers will serve a two-year term, from May 1, 2026, to April 30, 2028.

Board Officers Nominations: Only Board members serving on the Oversight Committee are eligible for nomination to the offices of Board Chair and Vice-Chair. Any member of the Board is eligible for nomination to the office of Treasurer. Per the Bylaws, the Chair, Vice Chair, and Treasurer must at all times represent a different entity. An exception may be made for the Treasurer’s office if there are no other qualified Directors to serve. Current Committee members can be found here.

Oversight Committee: The members of the Oversight Committee serve two-year terms concurrent with CalTIP's fiscal year and commencing during the even-numbered years. There is no maximum number of terms a member can serve. The responsibilities and roster of current Oversight Committee members are published on the CalTIP website. The Oversight Committee meets three times per program year via teleconference.

Oversight Committee Nominations: Up to nine Board members may be nominated to serve on the Oversight Committee for a two-year term, from May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2028.

Finance and Administration Committee: There are currently four expiring positions and one vacancy on the Finance and Administration Committee (FAC). The responsibilities and roster of current FAC members are published on the CalTIP website. The FAC meets twice a year via teleconference.

Finance and Administration Committee Nominations - Vacant and Expiring Positions: Up to five Board members may be nominated to fill: 1) one mid-term vacancy (term ending April 30, 2027), and 2) four expiring positions (new terms effective from May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2028).

Member Services Committee: There are currently four expiring positions, one current mid-term vacancy, and one mid-term vacancy effective
May 1, 2026, on the Member Services Committee (MSC). The responsibilities and roster of current MSC members are published on the CalTIP website. The MSC meets four times a year, held via teleconference. In addition, special MSC meetings are held via teleconference on an as-needed basis to discuss claims and grant settlement authority.

Member Services Committee Nominations - Expiring Positions: Up to seven Board members may be nominated to fill: 1) two mid-term vacancies (terms through April 30, 2027), and 2) four expiring positions, with new, two-year terms, from May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2028.

Nominating Committee: Annually, at the April meeting, the Board appoints a Nominating Committee consisting of no less than three and no greater than five members, including the current Board Chair (automatic seat). The responsibilities and roster of current Nominating Committee members are published on the CalTIP website. The Nominating Committee meets for one regularly scheduled meeting via teleconference. Additional Nominating Committee meetings are held on an as-needed basis to fill mid-term vacancies via teleconference.

Nominating Committee Nominations: Up to four Board members may be nominated to serve on the Nominating Committee for a one-year term, from May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027.
