Santa Monica Airport Conversion Project - Framework Survey

Welcome to the Framework Diagram Survey of the Santa Monica Airport Conversion Project!

The project is currently in Phase 3b and for this stage, the project team has developed a Framework Diagram based on City Council direction and community input. In previous phases, the community shared thousands of ideas about uses, locations, and the overall character of the future park, reflecting a wide range of perspectives and priorities. The Framework Diagram brings these many ideas together to find common ground about what should go where and what types of uses belong in different areas of the site. It establishes the park’s overall structure by identifying distinct districts, their defining characteristics, potential uses, and accompanying precedent images. The Framework Diagram is intended to build shared understanding and consensus on the major locations and relationships before moving into more detailed design, providing a
strong foundation for the Framework Plan in the next phase.

Before you begin, please note: 
  • This survey is best viewed on a computer or large tablet; we recommend using a larger screen rather than a mobile phone, but a phone will work.
  • The survey should take approximately 5–10 minutes to complete.
  • You may select “Save and continue later” at the top of the survey and enter an email address to save your progress. A unique link will be emailed to you so you can return where you left off.
