Arts and Creativity Workshops provide performance workshops and clinics where participants can engage in individual or group creative presentations, guided by experts in their disciplines. This year, we are excited to offer workshops in honors choir, comedic improv, music, theater, and poetry, film (submission only), creative problem solving, movement exploration, and choreography.
Evaluation of applicants will begin on March 15, 2026, with participants being selected on a rolling basis through September 26, 2026. Applying early increases your chances of acceptance and provides more time to secure funding and arrange transportation for the conference. Successful application by September 26, 2026, will ensure inclusion in the conference materials. After the workshops, participants will share their talents in an Arts and Creativity Showcase, inviting all NCHC26 to attend! This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the creativity and hard work of our workshop participants. For general questions regarding the NCHC26 Arts and Creativity Workshops, please contact Steven Edwards at sedwar@dcc.edu or (504) 234-4457.
